For many years Berloni has been committed to safeguarding the environment, continuously promoting the best available technology aimed at improving the quality and safety of its products, and reducing the environmental impact of toxic and hazardous substances involved in its production.

As further confirmation of the growing concern it shows towards products, the environment and health, Berloni is one of the first companies in Italy to use FSC E0 V100 panels for its carcass construction.

FSC E0 V100 certifies that the panels we select conform to the following valuable and fundamental requirements:
• FSC certifies the timber's origin according to stringent environmental, social and economic standards
• E0* indicates an even lower formaldehyde content, far below current European class E1 levels
• V100 defines the new water-repellent features (class P3 according to the EN317 standard).

These requirements, combined with Berloni's Product Certification, define a new QUALITY REFERENCE STANDARD which conforms to the most stringent international standards concerning environmental protection, health and product features.

* Please note: the limit, reduced to max. 0.3 mg/l according to the JIS A 14 60 standard, is in line with California's target for 2011, according to Japanese standards.

CARCASS: structural components (sides, tops, bottoms and shelves) are made of FSC E0 V100 melamine-faced particle boards that are water repellent, have reduced levels of formaldehyde and conform to the stringent international regulations on environmental protection.

The entire Berloni organization is certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 Quality System.

Our production process, across more than five production facilities located in the Pesaro furniture district, is vertically integrated and comprises all the main manufacturing stages of furniture production, from the cutting of timber to painting, assembly and shipping. Each stage of this process is carefully monitored and checked in order to guarantee our high quality standards. Innovative machinery and processing technology enable us to reduce warehouse costs by increasing the speed of the market’s reaction.

Improvements can be activated without having to wait for the reduction in stocks. At the same time, we strive to minimize delivery times and to improve the level of technical assistance offered by our distributors, thereby enabling us to respond to customers’ needs in the most efficient manner.

Berloni certifies the safety and quality of its kitchen furniture in accordance with methods and requirements fixed by European standard EN 14749 : 2005 (and by other performance standards). But the most important of all quality assurances is the loyalty demonstrated by our customers: Berloni thinks about customer satisfaction even beyond the provisions laid down by the law, for example the 10 years guarantee against manufacturing defects provided on all the kitchens.
